I am so glad we decided to have lunch at Cocina Del Charro this weekend. I absolutely loved their rice, beans and tomatillo sauce they served my shrimp ranchero with. Their chips and salsa were very good as well and their portions were just perfect.

Our waitress was very attentive and the overall experience was great. Pricing was pretty good too, lunch for 2 came out to $30 and it was definitely enough food.

I can't wait to go back there and try some more stuff! My new favorite Mexican Restaurant in Escondido!

This is by far my husband and I's favorite restaurant in Escondido for Mexican food. We have been going there for years. The food is great, good priced and the Margarita's on the rocks will knock you out. We love to sit out on the patio next to the waterfall and relax. The one is San Marcos is horrible. The restaurant is new and all but the service sucks and so does the food.

fantastic food and it has a great $14.00 buffet on Sunday with lot's to choose from , the flan is outstanding, sit outside on the patio Sunday Morning with the sun ,food and a cocktail !! very relaxing

This is one of the worst mexican food places I have ever eaten. Ive given it numerous tries, but the last time was when I ordered chile rellenos and they used CANNED chiles!

Great Food! Great Price! They could use a little more old fashioned decor, but if you don't mind the bright lights and plastic seats, it's good. If you want what this restaurant can really reach to, go to it's Brother in San Marcos Restaurant row, not that far, and the San Marcos Location has all the ambience. Either place you'll get the same good food though, Cold Beer served.
