The Odyssey is Winston-Salem's gay club. It's always loud, cheerful, and fun inside, even though it's only been about half-full both times I've been.

The drinks are a little expensive, but it's worth it for the entertainment value. The music's good, and there's always someone to dance with.

I love Club Odyssey! The club has 4 convienient bathrooms, 2 dance rooms (one plays RAP & the other plays TECHNO) The club has 3 bars & several pool tables & tons of seating with nice candlelight! The club also has a patio outside! The dance floor in the TECHNO room has 2 cages that anyone can play in, its a multi-level dance floor, & mirrors line the back wall! The DJ is usually entertaining but the drag shows aren't anything to brag about but some people love them, depends on what your style is! I'd say its a great place to meet people & you don't need a membership to get in, just 18 & up! But I would recommend getting the membership, saves you lots of money in the end! The best days to go are Saturday if you want a big crowd & want the club atmosphere.... the club is open from 9pm-3am I think almost everday, but I wouldn't recommend any day besides Saturday and expect there to be a line outside waiting to get in!!!

I've been to Club Odyssey three times and can't get enough of it. I wasn't sure I would like it the first time I visited, but I quickly fell in love with it. If only it were in Charlotte instead (personally, I find the clubs here a bit lacking)! There are two different sides of the club...one plays R&B music and the other plays "boy" music. The diversity rocks, and the employees have been nothing but friendly to me. I definitely recommend Club Odyssey.
