Not a good overall experience.
I saw this Dentist for a routine cavity fill on a molar. Made me feel reel comfortable before he drilled. However, I indicated that since this was far back in my mouth, I was not too concerned with cosmetics so if it is cheaper, to use what he thought was best. He indicated that he would use almagamum instead of the composite. I agreed. However, had Dr Clerc explained to me clearly the difference, and stated that the almalgamum contains silver, I would have told him no. I don't care for an silver fillings because I believe them to be toxic. This filling was done in 2007, in Feb 2010, the hardness of the alamagamum cracked my tooth. I had to put up with excruciating pain for 3 1/2 days before I could get to my (current) dentist. I was taking codeine/tylenol which combined with the severe pain and lack of caused severe nausia up to the day of treatment. I discussed this ordeal with Dr. Tanner, my current dentist.
