Best Vet in San Diego
I have a little 4 year old dog, and I have been searching for the perfect vet in San Diego for awhile. My dog always seems to have issues- lots of allergies, chewing himself, hotspots, anal gland problems, etc. Clairemont Village always makes the time for us and fits us into even a busy schedule. The staff are all caring and polite. This is basically the only vet that I can take my dog where he doesn't end up screaming and yelping in pain when his anal glands are expressed.. so we stick with them. The prices aren't as exorbitant as vets in other areas but they aren't quite as cheap as some places that are in different parts of San Diego. The doctor is friendly as well as easy to talk to. My dog won't go anywhere else! Although- the wait can be a bit long sometimes but just try to come in on days and times where everyone else won't be coming in.

Friendly Staff by Charlie G. at InsiderPages
Dr. Diamond and his staff are fantastic! I was referred here from a military vet and have been going ever since. The entire office treats you and your pet like you're the only appointment they have all day. After my visits I've always received a follow up phone call from the office about a week later to see how my pet is doing and if I have any questions or concerns about the care my pet received. As an added bonus, I receive a Pet magazine in the mail with my pets' reminder vaccines and check ups.

Amazing
After having a bad experience at our first San Diego vet, my girlfriend and I decided to take our white german shepherd puppy to Dr. Diamond upon referral from a neighbor. His examination was very thorough, his explanations were in-depth, but above all Dr. Diamond and his staff make you feel as though they genuinely care about your pet. Our 3-month-old pup has a heart murmur and was having diarrhea as well. Dr. Diamond took the time to explain the various options we could take to address the heart issue including breaking down the pricing of each option. Even our pup, who was a nervous wreck at the first vet, was calm, cool and collected throughout the entire exam. He even found time to take a nap as Dr. Diamond stayed 45 minutes past closing to talk about other puppy issues such as pet insurance, obedience training, vaccinations, etc. This far exceeded my experience at Pacific Veterinary in North Park, where the doc saw our puppy for 2 minutes, insulted our training regimen and the ...
