I took my cat to this pet clinic. He was very sick and had to stay overnight with iv's. I could not afford to go to the all night hospital. 2 days later my cat went home and I found out the technician had come down after closing both nights and checked on my cat. I wasn't even charged for this. Thumbs up for this caring clinic

I have been going to this Hospital since my puppy was a baby. She is now 2 yrs old. I made an appointment for my Mocha to be fixed. So, I called they gave me a quote of $125 with a little bit of exta fees. When I brought my dog in, the bill was going tobe $369.00. I said what are you kidding me. They should have told me this on the phone when I made the appointment. I was very angry and looked at the bill and said no I dont need all these services. The doctor came back in and said yes she does, so the price we will go down to is $199.50. I let them know noone tells me what I need when I already know for my dog. I had them make copies of the records and I left. I walked in Akaal Pet Hospital and now have an appointment for Thursday and it is going to cost me $125 maximum for her to get fixed. I will never step foot into Sylvan Oaks again. They dont even talk to the animals here, they just take them and do the work and be done. I hope noone goes through what I did. I like people to tell me the truth not lie to me.... Dont go to Sylvan Oaks, Go to Akaal Pet Hospital instead, they are very nice and personal.

The vets/doctors may be great, but I will not take my cat here...ever. I was referred to this place by the Rescue Agency I got her from. Basically...they took her in the back and kept her overnight to do some tests (so they said). When I came in to get her the receptionist was so absolutely rude, told me that my cat had actually 'somehow' escaped from the cage and was walking around in one of the exam rooms???? I brought her home...the problems got worse. I called and they told me it was just the food. Well...my cat had tapeworms and roundworms which I unfortunately found out AFTER the fact. I understand it can be a stressfull job...but please do it right. If you don't like your job get a new one. I recommend one that is NOT in customer service.

This was one of the few animal clinics I could find in the area that advertised that they had a boarding facility as well as the usual pet care. We boarded our dog there several times and she was always well taken care of. Reasonable rates.

Recently I put my dog down due to cancer. Dr. Berger who has worked there for at least 10 years is the most wonderful doctor an owner could ask for. She is very compassionate and made sure I was in on every decision and held my hand the whole way. Thank you again to the doctors and experienced staff. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
