I have been taking my animals to Dr. Hibler since 1996 and he is the BEST! You get what you pay for for those who feel he is too expensive. I had a blind chihuahua that had heart problems and Dr. Hibler knowing that he was scared to death to be in a cage, took him HOME with him each night to monitor him and he slept on the side of his bed with Dr. Hiblers dog hooked to IV and all.
I cant say enough about Dr. Hibler!
As far as other Docs in office, I cant comment, but being an animal lover I feel my animals get the best from Dr. Hibler. I would like to also note that since two of my current animals ( I have three) are scared to death to ride in a car ( rescue abused animals) Dr. Hibler brings his scale, nurse, shots, and whatever is needed to my HOUSE each year for physicals. What can I say?
I recently moved to the Katy area, and took two of my dogs to this vet clinic. My Shetland Sheepdog just needed a yearly check and shots. My golden also needed yearly check and shots, but also had a skin infection. And because he is ten years old I have been requesting a senior panel for the last three years. I was shocked when I saw the bill it was $600.00. That seemed ridiculous to me compared to how much I have paid in the past. But the worst part was the vet tech who bent the needle in my golden's neck trying to get a CBC sample, after 3 tries and a bent needle I made her get the vet to do it. They might be quite good but with four dogs I can't afford to pay that much for shots and exams. So I am still looking for a vet. Know any good ones?
Our cat passed away last week from an apparent asthma attack. I took him to this hospital 13 days prior because he was coughing, they did a heartworm test (which was negative) and gave us an antihistamine. We were told to come back if he got worse. Unfortunately for our cat and our family, the worsening happened so quickly that he died about 15 minutes after arriving back at the doctors' office. I feel more tests could have been done at the initial visit, but I guess we will never know exactly why this happened. To their credit, they met us outside upon arrival to rush our cat back for treatment, and the staff was kind and supportive.
