We had our wedding here in August and it was amazing! This venue was the perfect icing to an already special day, we could not have asked for more!

Where to even begin with Lacey?!? She was such a fantastic planner to work with since day 1, literally a gift sent from Heaven!! I was one of those brides that asked TONS of questions and thought of all different crazy scenarios that could happen on the day of. However, Lacey was very patient with me throughout the entire process and had a great way of reassuring me that everything was going to be ok with her wonderful, calming personality. She always did everything with a smile! :) Not only that, she was also well organized and very responsive with all of my e-mails. Often times, I would get responses back within minutes from when I sent it out, sometimes even at 10 or 11pm at night! Lacey is very passionate about her venue and it definitely shows in her work, it was really a pleasure planning with her!

My then fiancee was working on the day I came for our first venue tour so I came here with my BMs and everyone was so captivated by the beautiful scenery overlooking the grounds and pond. I fell in love with the place the moment Lacey showed us the waterfall, there was seriously no turning back. Thankfully, Lacey knows many vendors that were in our price range and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, bending over backwards to work out everything so we could stay within our budget. When I brought my finacee for the second visit, he knew immediately why I was in love with this place. He just looked over at Lacey and asked where he needs to sign! :)

It is truly a magnificent venue to host your wedding, I highly recommend it! Friends and family couldn't stop taking pictures and we're still getting compliments on what a beautiful wedding we had there!

We had our wedding at The Chism House last November, we were so impressed with everything they had to offer and will advise everyone we know wanting a Reno wedding to have their wedding there. We so appreciate the help we got from the staff, they made everything quite effortless and easy. We found The Chism House has such a warm, homey, comfortable yet simple elegance about it. Everyone in attendance was impressed as well. The minister provided us with a simply beautiful ceremony. The words truly touched us and made for a truly "dreamy" ceremony that we will always remember so fondly.

The Chism House did such a lovely job with our wedding. All too often websites cast their establishment in the best possible light, and in reality you are dissapointed. The Chism House was just the opposite. I was pleasantly surprised at how charming, intimate and personal the setting was. They made us feel as if we were the only couple that had been married there.

The minister did a wonderful job and his words were so touching. We could not have written them better ourselves. We won't forget those special words that made us cry that night.

They do such a fantastic job and I am so glad we chose Chism House for our wedding. They were so helpful from the very beginning, and when we arrived their warmth and hospitality were so welcoming. We felt like we were among friends.

My sister was scheduled to get married at the Chism House in Reno, NV. We are from the tri-cities, and everything about the online description and correspondance with the staff at Chism house seemed Legit. However, 2 days before her wedding she went to the house to check it out, and the place was a dump! it was in the middle of a trailer park, the "pond" in the front yard was a mess, there was a basketball hoop in the driveway, and they had broken lawn furniture on the porch!

They refused to let her in the house to see where the wedding would take place, and they will not give her the money back for booking the house even though she didn't have her ceremony there.

If you know of anyone looking to get married in Reno, please don't go to the Chism house.......... thank you!!!!!
