I visited Dr. Chinta's Pleasanton office and had the most terrible experience ever. Wish I had read the reviews before, because this seems to be a trend. They tell you that you need useless procedures to get as much money out of you as possible. On top of this, the dentist was extremely rude as was the rest of the office staff. Seriously, go anywhere but here! I can't believe this place is still in operation‎

So i chipped my front tooth in wrestling practice in 86 and had it fixed and had no problems with it for 20 years. Then it gets hit and chipped again and i visit a San Ramon local dentist thinking it should be good as if it were not they would not be here and would all be employed with the DEPT OF CORRECTIONS pulling teeth vs repairing. So as they are selling me the idea that aside of insurance i am going to pay out $1500.00 and that a root canal with a PFG (porcelin fused to gold crown) would give me back my original smile back and there would be no slight discolor above the tooth in the gum line. I agree because i am in sales and well u got it .so i pay cash and they pull out some spread sheet with dentistry jargon all over it and i am now looking at another $1100.00 and I will be very happy. Well i still have margin and when i went back to get an answer as to how is it possible my tooth hurts with temperture change when they had done a root canal on it and being a year later (vs the ...

I went here several years ago after my insurance had changed. I was going to a good friend who is considered one of the best in the valley, but had to change. So I went to Country Fair Dental as it was close by. They basically advised me that I needed about $2000 worth of work, and would risk my life if I didn't do it. They pressured me like a used car salesman to make an appointment to go back. I didn't. I went back to my friend the dentist to have a look. He said everything was fine. I even went to another dentist in San Ramon who said everything looked great. In fairness, it's been a while since I was there, but if it is the same doctor as before, I'd really be careful about writing big checks to these scam artists.‎
