I moved to Los Angeles over a year ago, and was very hesitant about having to find a new stylist. I went through 2 hairdressers before I struck Gold and found Jennifer. I'm very picky about my hairstyle and especially color.

Jennifer got EVERYTHING right to a T. She's the best hairstylist I've ever had. She listened to what I wanted, and she got my haircut and color right the first time! Even when I wanted a drastic change, it was ALWAY what I wanted.

If you're hesitant like I was and a nervous wreck when it comes to getting your hair done with a new stylist, go with Jennifer. She's amazing!

The salon was nice and the hairstylist was professional, but the cut was certainly not worth the close to $100 price tag (including tip). I was expecting something amazing after reading other reviews here and would not have minded paying more for it, but the cut was nothing special and they styling was pretty much what I already do at home for free. Won't be going back.

after moving to pasadena, i was nervous about finding a new stylist to whom i would trust my hair to. i have long hair and am wary of having someone who is layers-happy to cut my hair. i decided to try chignon and ryan cut my hair. he really listens to you and he did a really, really good job on my hair. i have never felt 100% satisfied with a cut but this time i was! i highly recommend ryan for your hair needs. he is a wonderful guy.

Recently, I decided to get a more sophisticated and professional-yet-updated haircut and decided to try out Chignon for the first time. I am very picky and untrusting, but I was ready for a change! I was not disappointed. The salon booked me sameday with Ruthie, and she was not only friendly, but really wanted to get to know me so that she can cut my hair to my own personal style. I wanted to cut my hair shoulder length and eliminate the long-layered haircut (a la Jennifer Aniston) I've had for years. In addition, I wanted to have some lift at the crown, so she gave me appropriate layers at the back, yet give me shape in the front to frame/balance out my square-jaw face. It was perfect. I will definitely be back to see Ruthie!

Wow! What a pair! Zoey is the best person who has ever touched my eyebrows. I use to go and see her at Chignon. Now she has her own studio right behind the salon. If you make a left at Kendall Alley, you will see Zoey's new studio BRAUHAUS. It is the most amazing studio and the best part is you get Zoey and her team all to yourself. No more crazy salon madness in the background! But, when I need a blow dry or up do, Natalie is just the best at Chignon. Not only is she fun to talk with but she always does the most amazing job.
