The owner and staff are all so nice - genuinely kind. It's a no-pressure place, and they are A+ in customer service. I love them. I have purchased new and used coats there. One jacket was in perfect condition for only $200 and another was $1,000 new. I also go there for repairs.

I have purchased 2 fur coats from Chicago Fur Outlet. 777 W. Diversey at Halsted. Then, I took in my mom's mink jacket to be cleaned. I paid the $$$, but they NEVER cleaned it, just said they did. Stains were apparent- the same stains as when I brought it in. When confronted- they immediately offered to REALLY clean it and ship it back. There were no protestations on their part. I agreed to give it another try. Now, some stains are gone from the lining, but it still smells just as musty and stale as it originally did. The exact reason that I brought the jacket in to them in the first place. I DO NOT believe it was cleaned on the second go-around, either. I'm disgusted, and I won't be back. In my opinion, they are not trustworthy. Beware!

If you're looking for a really nice fur coat, but can't find an affordable one, this is the place for you! They have a whole collection of furs, all at really discounted prices. They may not have your size, but they sales people are great at locating things around the store. You can also sign up for their mailing lists and get info on some great deals. Parking can be hard to find around here though!
