I had these guys come out to clean carpets and area rugs. Instead of bringing a Chem Dry hot carbonizing foam system that is shown on the Chem Dry website, they came in with a 150 LBS industrial rotary floor polisher with an 18' circular bristle brush on it. They then proceded to squirt something from a canister onto the rugs and carpets, which was definatley not foamy, so it might just have been water, and then trap a big circular rag between the floor polishers circular bristle brush and the carpet and then proceded to grind my carpets and rugs with the floor polisher and rag. The opperator had to have me stand on the corners of the area rugs to stop them spinning around when he ground them with the floor polisher and rag. After they operator had gone I went back up to the Chem Dry website, which these guys link to advertize their business. The only method discribed there is the hot carbonizing foam method delivered either by a vehicle based system or a mobile Chem Dry power head ...
