Great selection
This specialty store has been around for years and I am glad we have it! There are maybe a thousand different sorts of cheeses and the variety you may see at an average supermarket is just a tiny fraction of what's really out there.
This cheese store shows you a much greater variety. I personally am a fan of goat cheese, and they have different sorts, some with flavors, spices, and from different regions.
Cheese is quite personal but for someone who doesn't know cheese, I may suggest Comte from France, Pecorino from Italy and camembert, again from France. Don't hesitate to pick up an assortment with small bits of different cheeses. When you eat them, you should start with the mildest and finish with the strongest. A bit of bread between different cheeses cleanses the palette slightly.
For adventurous cheese lovers, try the Mont d'Or! (not for amateurs)
Ask the staff to recommend a nice red wine to accompany your cheese. For strong cheeses, you'll need an equally strong wine.
If you love cheese, or if you are curious about cheese, definitely go here!
