This is my THIRD SM property . The first two were garden types. This is a high rise. The atmosphere is DIFFERENT. I would have to say that the residents reflect students, government (armed forces) and GSs and other professionals like myself. The staff...HIGHLY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. Colleen leads by example and it shows in the staff. Most staff that works the desk in the evening are residents. That means the effort is magnified because of the personal interest in their neighbors. This works VERY WELL! Maintenance....no problems. Very timely. Very professional and friendly. Cleaning crew for buildings...again very friendly and professional. Roaches....in the six months I have seen....1, 2, 3, 4, 5 roaches. THATS IT!!! Now understand that when living in a high rise environment, there is little control over that nasty neighbor you may or may not have. But where I stay, I believe everybody is on the "same" page..
