We stopped here on the way back from santa barbara at the reco of a friend - such a pleasant place and you can just walk around and ask questions on the background of different items but there is no sales pressure. The kids loved to play around too and there was much room in this country setting.

I was curious to see if I could find something unusual for my house. What I found was a piece of old world charm and sophistication. The quality of the workmanship was beyound my expectations as was the warm welcome I received. This is not just a place to shop but more of an experience you want to take back to your home. It had a wide variety of items (some of which I would never have thought to search for in LA ) that amazed me. The setting was a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) in the hills - I felt like I was back in Europe. The more I looked, the more ideas I got for my home. I will be returning many more times - The drive was worth it!

You almost feel like you are in the hills in Provence. They have a wonderful assortment of architectural pieces from Europe. Tons of fountains, antique doors and shutters, and great lighting as well. Not to be missed!!!!!

Charmes d'Antan surprised me. In a beautiful setting i found the stone fountain i was looking for. Imported from France this antique piece was priced right. If not for the limits of my budget I was tempted by a stone fireplace to choose from many. Furniture, objects, so much to look at. And what's more of value is the knowledge of the owners. Go there, it is worth the drive.

I just discovered "Charme d'Antan"... Nested in the Agoura Hills, this place is worth the drive! An incredible choice of outdoors fountains welcomes you to the location. Peacocks 'roam' freely, adding a touch of natural beauty.
Inside, the old furniture is impeccable: armoires, tables, lamps... I was also seduced by the beauty of various objects I didn't know the function; The owner was keen to give, in detail, all necessary explanations.
Can't wait to go back with my better half :)
