I have three boys, all of whom have been taking martial arts at this studio since the age of 4. The oldest is 11 and on his way to earning a first-degree black belt next year. They take classes from senior instructor, Matt Emery, and like all the teachers here, he is an extremely skilled, dedicated, and enthusiastic practitioner and teacher of martial arts, especially in his teaching of children, both boys and girls, from a very young age and as they grow.

Integral to the teaching here is the focus on developing qualities such as compassion, honesty, integrity, discipline, confidence, leadership, good citizenship, and good manners. The instructors are serious but also engage students with warmth, humor, and fun. They also inspire an active and healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and good eating habits. Students have opportunities to compete in tournaments and participate in demonstrations.

The studio space is particularly awesome, and parents are welcome to watch the classes in action. As a result, many parents have become good friends, and the sense of community is strong. I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else for training in martial arts.

Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.

I feel this motto is very fitting to the instructors at Champions Martial Arts. They inspire your child to be the best they can be in mind, body and spirit and that it's not always about the goal but your journey. This is a very special place. We love it.

This studio is awesome ! i watched a class and the instructors are very nurturing and paitent with the kids. They seem to take learning about discipline, self confidence and respect very seriously here. I would highly recommend this studio if you are looking for a place that will teach you or your kid physical health but also how to be more confident. Its very cool !!!!
