I would definitely recommend Champion Tennis Club! It's a great place to play with its sweeping views and its court's low-impact cushioned surface. Best to call ahead and reserve a court. The club's pros are skilled and personable and an hour of play with one of them can give your game a boost. If you're lucky enough to play with the club's owner (a bit pricier) you'll see why he's called tennis Dennis.

If you are like most parents searching for the perfect place for your child's activities on the east side. Let me let you in on a little known secret. The Champion Tennis Club rooftop facility is a beautiful small tennis facility located on the 3rd floor on 98th and 1st Ave. They have a wonderful kid's program and summer sports camp. Our children age 7 and 9 have been playing there for the past two seasons and love it. GREAT PROGRAM, GREAT VIEWS and a GREAT friendly teaching staff. Good Luck getting in though...

I would recommend putting up a net on 1st ave and renting a ball machine there before I would recommend this poorly run operation.
