Great Service
I'm from Austin. I went to Corpus over the weekend. On the way the A/C went out. We arrived at 12noon. I called Champion Mazda at 12:45 to find out their hours and if I might have a chance to get it fixed before they closed. Joe told me to bring it in. I'm skeptical of dealerships and know I'm in the prime position for getting taken. I arrived at 1:30. They took my car straight in. They diagnosed the problem by 2pm. They said that the compressor was shot, they had the parts to fix it, and what the price would be. I phoned my wife and checked the parts price online. I found the part 30% cheaper online (not including shipping though), and figured I would be paying a premium for the convenience of quick major repair to my A/C system. At 3pm Joe came and told me that they made a mistake in diagnosing the parts needed to complete the repair. The part they thought would be a complete kit that would replace the broken parts was actually just one part, and they needed more parts. They happened to have those in stock too. They ended up repairing the system for the original price they quoted me which ended up being below what just the parts alone would have cost. They had me fixed, put back together and out the door by 3:55 pm. I was very impressed.
That was honesty, integrity, convenience, and efficiency. I've never experienced this or heard of anyone else experiencing this kind of service at a dealership. I was in the position to be taken advantage of, and they treated me right.
