This was sheer delightful... My best friend and I took our kids, and it was a really great experience... almost meditational, -it was therapeutic, -perhaps even for the kids… We went to this location and it was pretty small, but quite quaint and well put together. We were first timers and didn’t know the process so we had to ask, since no one came up to us and said welcome to Ceramic Café, can we help you? (They weren’t very personable at this location) but this company as a business in general I would still recommend to others (maybe a different location). As for the process: you go in, look around, find what you’d like to paint, gather your materials and go to work. Turn it in when you are done and then come back when it is ready maybe 3 days to a week, I can’t remember exactly… You pay beforehand I believe too, but only for the pottery, there is no fee for them cooking it in the kiln. And when you pick it up, you have a beautiful masterpiece for your home, whether it goes on the wall, mantle or you use it in the kitchen or at the dining table, and I believe it is dishwasher safe. A must do with the kids…

We had a blast!
My sister and I wanted to take our 7 year old neice somewhere fun. So on Saturday we went to the Ceramicafe... and what a good choice. They have lots of things to choose from to paint, but be aware it's not cheap. My coffee cup cost 18 bucks! but honestly it was one of best 3 hours I've spent. We each picked something to paint, Like I said, I made a coffee mug, my sister did a switch plate (the kind you put over a light switch) and my neice did 5 things... a penguin, Patrick the Star fish from Sponge Bob, and then 3 little magnets. The starfish and penguin were small. So you buy the ceramic piece.. and pick out a table, then you get your paints and let the creative juices flow! There is no time limit, so take as long as you want to paint. They have a wide variety of paints to choose from and your imagination is the only limit. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was a great way to spend a Saturday. Sophia my neice, said it was the best weekend ever! We picked up our items today (a day early) and they look beautiful! You have to make sure to put at least 3 coats on and I can see where I messed up a bit, but I can't wait to do my next project! I'll definitely be returning to Ceramicafe.

Fun by Jaclyn P. at InsiderPages
This was a fun place to go. I love going and picking anything I like and being able to paint it and make it mine. I really enjoyed going here. I loved Ceramics in school and this is a great place to go to get back in touch with those feelings. I would highly recommend this place.

First visit was a good visit by Peter L. at InsiderPages
I went here because some of my friends wanted to and it was a pretty cool place, even for a guy. It seems like it would be a fun date place if you like talking since its impossible to talk during a movie. We spent like 3 hours in this place for a mere 15 bucks to paint a mug. I would recommend this if if you like the arts and crafts stuff. The only downside is the week turnaround time to pick up your works.
