Century Stereo, I think falls in between, boutique and the big box home theater/stereo stores that treat their new potential customers well. Most times I've been in there, there has always been someone to greet me and ask if I have any questions. I did sometimes and in each case, they were helpful either answering my question or finding an answer. They get a 5 star rating from me because I had purchased a center channel speaker at one of their open box/overstock sales. After inspecting the center at home (the box was sealed), I saw that the grill material had a little tear in the corner. I called Century a few days later and without question, had placed an order for a new replacement grill. With normal open box/demo sales, the equipment is sold as is and they didn't have to order me a new grill, but they did. So I highly recommend them for their service and support.
