Bob at Century Auto Air Conditioning beat other estimates for fixing the air conditioning in my vehicles by a good 30%. He has the machine to create his own hoses. So they cost less and there is no waiting for hoses to be delivered from who knows where. Bob is the guy that the other shops come to when they need custom hoses made.

What can I say I had been driving a black car in the AZ sun for 3 summers straight with no A.C. because everyone I took it to said it might cost 1300 up to 2000 bucks to fix. I had done an engine swap in my truck. As with most custom jobs, I had to mix and match parts. In order to get my AC working, I needed hoses made using fitting from my old system and the newer system that was put it. Bob, the owner, did a great job explaining my options (134A or stick with R12). Based on the information I received I decided to stick with R12. That was the only problem...Bob no longer services R12 system, so I had to go elsewhere to get the system charged with freon. Overall, a great job making my hoses (done in about 2 hours) and he did it at what I thought was a reasonable price. Century would receive 5 stars if R12 service was offered.‎

The price was nearly half what was quoted by the Mercury service center and the level of customer service was many times better. I dropped the car off for a diagnosis in the morning and ended up with a completely repaired vehicle by early afternoon. Bob, the owner, provided me with the information I needed and also went above and beyond the scope of the repair to investigate reasons for failure and other issues with the vehicle.
