Defending myself
I am the groomer who did this pup for the first time,I dealt with this pup and her owner with the utmost perfessionalism,I did exactly what I was told(or not!) This pup was by no means "Short" in fact long as far as cuts go.I in no way rushed her and went over the different things she had in mind She had no idea and stated she wanted alot of this off refering to the hair( I left it longer then she said too)she rushed off.this is the first time I heard she was unhappy she never called or said anything when she picked up.this is a very young girl who didnt know what she wanted as is evident in her review.all i can say is Honey the big girl thing to do was call me and see what goes in to grooming a new puppy and maybe youd see why it wasnt perfect the first time or talk about why you wernt happy and let me try and fix it.dont leave a bad review you have alot of growing up to do honey.and by the way I would take a crummy haircut anyday if i new my new pup was treated well(as i treated yourbaby)opposed to a perfect hair cut and my pup treated cruelly.Your not welcome back your not a nice person honey grow up!!!your rfeally young

Ugh...
When I arrived to Central Bark I was asked how short I wanted my puppy's hair to be cut. She asked 1/2 or 1/4? I was unsure as to what this meant, but felt that there wasn't time for her to spend with me explaining because there were 3 customers waiting behind me to drop off their dogs. I told her that a 1/2 should be fine?

Upon arrival I didn't even recognize my poor little puppy! He did not look one bit the same to me because his hair was cut soooo short! I'm confused as to why she would cut his hair so short, especially since he is such a small puppy (less than 3 lbs) and it is almost winter! I sure hope he doesn't freeze. I just wish she would've used better judgement rather than listen to what I said, because I had no idea what I was even saying...His cut isn't even what it should be, shape wise, and I don't think I will return.

But I do appreciate the time she spent with him in getting him used to a groomer. Just need to wait a few months for his hair to grow out! Hopefully he doesn't freeze!

best dog groomer
This is a great place to get your small dogs groomed. Very personable service. Unlike other places I have been before the same person washes your dogs and grooms them. Deanna the groomer is great with the dogs. The prices are reasonable as well. I am very picky with my pups and would not leave them just anywhere. I have a small three pound yorkie who gets very nervous but doenst mind going to central bark. I would recommend central bark to anyone.
