In my opinion,I would not recommend this church to anyone.It is a known "FACT" that the pastor of this church allowed his own daughter to carry on an affair with a married man .All the while the daughter bringing the man to the church. Then the whole church found out what was going on between the two of them.(EVEN THO THE BYLAWS OF THE CHURCH STATED THAT ANYONE BEING FOUND IN ADULTRY OR FORNICATING WOULD BE REMOVED PROMPTLY FROM THE CHURCH.THIS HE DID NOT DO WITH HIS OWN DAUGHTER. He "INSTEAD" changed the bylaws of the church in this area to suit his own needs.The daughter remained a member of the church still carrying on with the man until he moved to a different state.Then the pastor moved her there to live.The man now being separated from his wife but, not legally "DIVORCED" from her yet. The daughter moved in with the man.The pastor the whole while claiming that he did not know she was going to live with him but,seemed to be alright with it because then the couple came back to Sierra vista.The man now being divorced from his wife and the pastor of this church married them in is own backyard.This kind of behavior he would not permit from anyone else in the church that was not a family member or close friend. He would be quick to tell you YOUR SIN,not bothering to look at his own sin. The bible says" judge not lest ye be judged and with what measure you use that measure will be used back unto you.
READ YOUR BIBLES.***** The daughter is now divorced from that man. The pastor of this church should ask God to Forgive him for his "DOUBLESTANDARD " ways.Among other things.He's arrogant, prideful,obnoxious etc. Other things the Bible talks about that are sinful. God help you if you join this church.

I've been affiliated with CBC for over 14 years. The pastor is a wonderful example to the members and is compassionate and God honoring in both word and deed. He knows that you can teach a person to do all the right things, but they have to make up their own mind to do what's right. You can't force righteousness on people. You can love them, and teach them, and hope they make decisions that honor God. That's all a church is: a group of Christians doing their best to honor God and encourage each other. I attend this church because it's where I learn, because everyone is so friendly, and because I am encouraged to obey God. I recommend this church as a good place to grow and a place where you are always welcome.

Would not recommend .
This place is nothing more than a powder puff ,tea time party place. Have you ever that saying if, it sounds to good to be true it usually is.This is one of those kind of places.

I've been a member of this church since I retired from the military in December 2005. I always said to myself and in prayers to God where does He want me to serve. And God pointed me back to Central Baptist Church. Before that I was a member of Central fom 2000 to 2003 before I went to Belgium. I've always been welcomed and we try our best to welcome others no matter their standing. Come to our church and establish your own opinion. May the Lord guide you through your life. The Pastor has been very helpful to everyone and he is a dear friend of mine.
