not a place for workers comp pt's
This Center for pain recovery is a good place for treatment for all kinds of chronic pain, But if you are under the TWC then you should ask questions before you start treatment. This ficility does not even have a copy of the required book "4th edition of the AMA guide lines" much less how to combat any TWC D.D. Issues or R.M.E. insurance co. doctor's issues and least of all not one doctor is qualified to attend either by phone or in the Contested Case hearings because they are not educated on any TWC rules and guide lines required to assist the injured worker in any leagle sitations. I know first hand that Barry Bass will attest himself that he is not the procdings at the TWC headquaters. This statement is confermed at the office of employee cousel at TWC and the Texas Dept of Insurance Devision. Be prepared to have your attorney to check this place out before you are accepted there, by doing so you will save yourself a lot of grief later on. So Ask questions regarding the TWC Rules and the 4th eddition of the AMA guidelines. (Temporary benifits, impairment ratings, Desinageted Doctor issues, Work Status Reports, SIBS issues, Benifit review Cinfrence readyness,Contested Case Hearings) because The Center for Pain Recovery Center Doctors are not qualified to help leagle issues you may have now or in the future. If you are refered by a TWC Treating Doctor for pain management and are not looking for a TWC treating Doctor then this is the right place they do outstanding services for pain management, but I do not recomend them to be your primary trating doctor.
