Can't say enough good things about Avi at Celtic Locksmith.  Like an idiot, I lost the ignition key to my 2000 Toyota Tacoma  I didn't have the produce number to get a new key made and was in a bad place.  I found Avi on yelp and learned that he had experience with this type of situation.  I called him Wednesday night and he agreed to come out to my house in Marin.  He was communicative (kept me posted of his progress across town) and arrived in no time.  He managed to remove the ignition lock (which used the same key) and made a new ignition key within 20 minutes.  He also left me with an extra key at no charge.

I have had VERY bad experiences with contractors and locksmiths, which is an occupational hazard to owning a building in Oakland. Affordable locksmith is the first locksmith that makes me glad I called them, rather than wishing I did the work myself.

My lockbox was stolen recently, so I had to rekey the locks on my front door. I called and Avi came out on the same day to rekey all three (the previous owner put those in!) locks on my front door to fit the same new key. He honored the Yelp discount and even threw in a couple of extra copies of the key. The visit charge was very reasonable. I would definitely use these guys again :-)

can't recommend Celtic Locksmith more highly!  We just moved into a condo and wanted to change the locks on our unit as well as on the whole building.  Avi (the owner) was very friendly and he did a great job.  In fact, later that day, we thought that one of the new locks was sticking, so we started to call Avi, but we ended up hanging up after just one ring because we realized the problem was simple and we could fix it ourselves.  Avi saw the missed call and called us back, and he insisted on returning to check the lock.  We were impressed with the fact that he didn't seem to like the idea that there would be any problems with his work.

His prices are also reasonable, and he gives Yelpers 10% off!

If we ever need a locksmith again, we won't think twice about who to call.  Thanks, Avi!
