The Caughlin Club is a great facility in a very nice setting. People working there are extremely nice. I have been very happy with the Club. That being said... For Summer 2010 Caughlin Club has arranged for MWF 1-4 Leap kids at the pool and 8-10am the Northern Nevada Aquatics private swim club. The Northern Nevada Aquatics club swims at the public pools other days of the week. The Caughlin Club is allowing these clubs to use their pool while inconveniencing their members who swim in the am and pm. So, 10-1 members can have an uncrowded pool or those that swim before work can share with a bunch of Swim Club people. Lakeridge still keeps their club members only and now Sommersett has opened up their membership to all of Reno with much less expensive dues. Sure this is quite convenient for people in Caughlin Ranch and surrounding neighborhoods, but is it worth the price or patience when the pool is overcrowded with people and one lifeguard MWF?
