I went to this Carpeteria to have a pergo floor installed and two rooms carpeted. The salesman, vic, was very accomodating and nice, in fact I would use the word slick. He was patient, over-solicitious and was very flirty. Strangely, however, he never showed me any of the carpet in the main part of store--he took me to the back room where all the left-overs were because he said they were the best deals. The fact was, they may have been slightly cheaper but they were not the best deals, and I was not in the market for cheap and ugly. I found a pergo floor I was satisfied with, and agree to a back room carpet. He wrote up the contract, and as he was writing it, I found another carpet on the main floor I loved which was only slightly more expensive. I told him I wanted that instead. He said he would re-write the order later---he never did. He promised to come out and measure and then call me with the exact price on all the flooring. He came out and measured. I was very specific about what I rooms I wanted carpeted. I asked him to write them down on the order. He didn't. He only ordered enough carpet for one room, and he never updated the order to the carpet I wanted. He never called with a final price. In fact, he never called at all. I called him three times and went to the store to see him, but he was off that day. The other salesmen were very helpful and they updated the carpet order for me. Vic forgot who I was, so when I finally reached him a few weeks later he had no memory of my order, no idea when the pergo or carpet would be in, and no idea when it could be installed---even though he promised the whole thing would be done within two weeks of placing the order. The other sales men helped me smooth everything out, however. What I didn't know is that installation cost 5 times that of Lowes, and so do their products. If I had seen the ama
