I have been in the design industry for over 20 years and have used just about every showroom in Los Angeles at one time or another. I will tell you this, you will not find a better selection or more experienced staff anywhere.
Yes, sometimes they are busy and you have to wait, but the wait is well worth it!

These people are very professional and know there business. They are not affraid to disagree with a customer if they think someone is making a design mistake (including me!) which I find very refreshing. Some sales people just agree with whomever is taking. These people agree with the one that is right.
Are they perfect, no. Will they be overwhelmed sometimes, sure. Do they care. Yes.
Do yourself a favor and go in. Talk to them. Your home will love you for it.

I first went to this store several months ago and l wound up walking out because I couldn't get anyone to wait on me. If a sales person sees you standing there, he could at least acknowledge your presence with "I will be with you in a minute" especially when on an obviously personal phone call, but he didn't. Months later when I went back it was largely the same thing. When he finally did wait on us, he agreed with whichever half of the couple was talking as far as design measures. Little practical help. Misquoted prices between showing the merchandise and placing the order. Then told us to "come in and pick up your order" When I arrived at the prearranged and agreed upon time, (with a vehicle borrowed for pickup stated )"I didn't mean HERE, I meant its here in our warehouse--a few miles away. Come back tomorrow. One week and several phone calls later, he swore the whole order was now at his location ready for pickup, but again, it was still at the warehouse. We wound up going to the warehouse ourselves to pick it up; it was supposed to be complete, but on unpacking the boxes at home, several items were missing. the cost of delays with the installer are adding up.And, I got way too much information about his personal life overhearing all the personal phone calls.

I am writing this because I googled Carpet Concourse to get the phone number and saw a review from a LM and just had to respond. I have been dealing with this company for over 30 years and have nothing but praise for them. Everyone working in the showroom has 20 years or more experience and are some of the brightest people in their respected fields. Obviously no one is perfect, and I'm sure that LM felt sleighted somehow. However the venom in her comments obviously point to someone with an axe to grind. I'm sure that there is more to this story......
