Response from ownership to Sham
In response to the review, "sham". My name is Chris Dunn and I own Carolina Pet Place.
Carolina Pet Place is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday we are open to the public, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Sunday 5-6 p.m. for pick-up only. We are also closed to the public for six holidays, however, our staff obviously has to work those days since they are often our busiest times. Carolina Pet Place has business hours 359 days/year.
Our staff returns Saturday afternoon and works Sunday a.m. in preparation for dogs going home Sunday night. Our staff works extremely hard in fullfilling the responsibility clients give us in the care for their pets. Clients are charged by the night with the exception of Sunday night when clients are charged for Sunday.

It is unfortunate that someone had such a bad experience. Carolina Pet Place welcomes suggestions and criticism. In addition, the ownership would have welcomed the opportunity to refund the expense of boarding for someone so obviously unhappy.
Carolina Pet Place opened May 2002, our policies, procedures, facilities and hours have remained the same for six years. Through friendly referrals and veterinarians support our client base has grown to over 3000. We strive to meet the needs and expectations of every client, however, we realize that we will fall short of those expectations in some circumstances.
