I had my brakes replaced and they went over my owner's manual. I was overdue for the timing belt, so we set up an appointment and had it done. I checked with the dealer on price and it would have been $200 more! I like the work these people did and they were very nice to me.

To be fair, the people here are very nice and try to explain things clearly. My problem is that I NEED a car on a daily basis and it's a huge problem when my car is in the shop. I brought my car in, they ran some tests and said they needed a part and would call me right away. Two days later, I still hadn't received a call, so I called them. He told me, honestly, that he hadn't called on the part yet but he would and call me back in an hour. He never called me back. I understand that they are a small, busy shop, but if you need a problem fixed quickly, I wouldn't recommend this shop.

I stopped at Carmichael Automotive when I noticed that the car was squeaking when I drove. They went for a test drive with me so I could point out when I heard it. They suggested that I should have the brakes inspected, which I did. I needed new brakes and now the car doesn't squeak! They let me see the brake pads as they pulled them off and showed me the new pads (what a difference!) I really like this place.

I think this place is great as far as repair shops are concerned. They told me what they found when they inspected my car during an oil change. I was given a written estimate for repairs and they honored the price three weeks later when I went back. No run around, no lies. They did what they said they were going to do. Can't beat that!
