I go to this store to purchase dance items for my daughter. The prices are GREAT and I have been able to save so much money and hassle shopping here. Will continue to shop at Carmens :)

After spending so much money at Capezio, a classmate of mine who was in my dance class told me about Carmen's Dance Shoes and Supplies. She vouched on how cheap their items were so I decided to return what I got at Capezio and shop here instead. All of their shoes are mainly for salsa, ballroom and character (broadway) but they still had a nice selection of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and even some dance sneakers. I bought the Leo's split sole ballet shoes and was extremely happy with the purchase. They were selling it for $22 and they usually go for $35+. These shoes were also NOT on sale so I got a cheap deal :) They have really nice quality leotards, tights and legwarmers that were also pretty cheap. I walked away with a lot of items and didn't spend so much. The employees and Carmen herself are so sweet. They stay with you until you find the right fit. The gentleman who helped me with my shoes brought me different sizes back and forth to make sure that the ballet shoes I got were perfect for my feet. I will definitely shop here again once I need to get more supplies.

I do a lot of musical theater and when I first started out I bought all my dance shoes from Capezio but then a friend told me about Carmens. They are so affordable and they even gave me a discount for CYT.
