Friendly employees, not so friendly owner.
Hello! As a customer of Pepper HC ( or should say was a customer) I thought I would share a few things. First of all, the owner seems very nice at first until something goes wrong and then he doesn't want to send anyone out. We spent a total of almost $3,000 with Pepper in a matter of 3 weeks and when the NEW airconditioner went out after only 2 weeks (of non-use) He said he couldn't get anyone out over the weekend. He forgot to mention that he had a man on call till he accidently mentioned it on the phone. So we said please send him out today!! We have 2 kids (including a 2 1/2 month old) and we have spent a fortune in mold remediation due to allergies. Aircondioners remove unwanted moisture from the air to prevent mold growth in warmer temps. With a new system this should have been a given that he would get someone out immediately. Then we found out that the coil was bad in our new airconditioner. We were told that it would be 4-5 business days. We waited till the end of the week (Fri. which was the 4th business day) and called Pepper. They refused to call bryant to see if it was in. Finally my husband had to get aggressive on the phone with the owner. The owner FLAT OUT REFUSED TO CALL BRYANT TO SEE IF IT WAS IN! Finally my husband got him to call only to find out that IT WAS IN! The owner had also told my husband that it would be mon. before they would be able to get it in! SO OVER A WEEK without air conditioning. My husband requested matter of factly that he wanted it put in over the weekend as they knew that the part was supposed to be in. The owner then stated that "I hope you know that I'm not making any money out of this". Like we should roll over and feel sorry for him. What about the $3,000 he had just made from us in the last few weeks!!!! Where has customer service gone?? Being a business owner myself in the past... owning a very successful fitness gym and tanning salon which my husband and I sold in 2004... I am appauled at this kind of behavior. SAD!

Pros: Very friendly employees, good at what they do for the most part!
Cons: Unfriendly owner who you have to deal with for everything
