Overall good experience
After reading these reviews below and visiting the dealership myself I cant hardly imagine how or who would write all this negative stuff. Yeah buying a car can be stressful and not always alot of fun. But come on. First I did not see anyone with the names mentioned below. And if you know anything about buying a car some of the things mentioned make even less since. Everything I feel was fair priced. The salesmen were knowledgeable. Maybe they were not experts on every single area of the buisness. But they were very helpful. So before you read the things mentioned below and make a decision you should give them a chance. Its actually kind of funny to go expecting to see what is talked about in these reviews and then NONE of it be accurate. I especially like the review about them stealing the rebate. Nissan and all manufactures review each and every one of these contracts to make sure rebates are given to the customer. SO please dont let this make a decision for you but go and see for yourself. I dont think you will be disappointed.

New management
I recently purchased a car from Cardinale nissan. After reading these reviews I almost wouldn't go on the lot. To my surprise they were nothing as mentioned here. They have all new management and are very helpful from the selection process all the way thru the paperwork. If you are looking for a car and want an easy and low pressure place to shop then I suggest Cardinale nissan.

Rip-Off Crooks - Horrible Business Practice
This disgusting business advertised on Craigslist a car I was interested in. I should have stopped there. I went in to look and before I came to a stop in the lot they were all over me. When I explained that I just wanted to look the sales tactics got very aggressive. The guy was double talking and contradicting himself about everything. Price, warranty, previous owner. He even ha the nerve to tell me it was previously owned by a little ol lady who only drove it on Sundays to church. Seriously. I did a car fax report afterwards out of curiosity on the cars vin number and it was far from the truth. The car had been flooded and given up for dead by the insurance company. Completely salvaged. When I politely said no thank you after the 40th call to me and that I was going to keep looking the guy got so angry and started trying to intimidate me into buying a car. The terms changed constantly as did the final price. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE CHEATS AND LIARS

What a bunch of crooks
Dont buy a car or enter a service contract with these guys. I bought a used BMW from them in March - after the sales person lied about the 'free detailing', ding remove and warranty terms it took 6 months to get the registration details. I have had to take the car back twice to get minor issues fixed, neither of which were covered under the terms of the warranty. On both occasions I was quoted $1000 for 'repairs', 'repairs' that they magically fixed putting the car back together when I told them that as it was not under warranty I was going to take it to the BMW dealership to be fixed. They either try to rip you off, or they are completely incompetent - either way I will never being doing business with them again.

Cardinale Auto Group all 14 stores
I have lived on the Monterey Peninsula my whole life and have bought all of my vehicles from Cardinale. I also know many people who buy their cars from them. I have had always had a very good experience with them. The thing people need to understand is that buying a car is NEVER going to be a completely smooth and amazing process. But what I can say is that Cardinale has always done what they've needed to do to keep me(and their other customers) happy. As a large company, the owners cannot control every single day to day operation. They hire the best people possible and go from there. I read so many blogs where people rip car dealers. You need to be fair in your assesment of a business. If you do run into a problem..ask yourself if they are trying to help you resolve it. People at car dealerships are no different than the rest of us. Hardworking people with families to feed. Once you understand that, you will probably look at things differently.
