My in-laws ordered take out fried fish and shrimp from Captain Tom's often. They offer senior citizen specials. It is typical NC style fried fish, hush puppies, etc. The slaw is also good. They have a separate door on the side for take out orders. It is the most reasonable and tasty fish place in Kernersville

Captain Toms's in Kernersville has great fried seafood platters! The service has always been good everytime we've gone, and we've been going on average about 3 times a year for 14 years now! We usually get the fried seafood platters, and occasionally the broiled. Sometimes you have to wait to get seated, but once you're seated, you don't wait long for your food to arrive. I highly recommend this place. They also have a separate entrance if you want to do takeout!

Captain Tom's is as close as you'll get to the beach in food and atmosphere in the triad. It has a fish camp quality about it, very clean and good wait staff. A good variety on the menu, and we always have a nice meal for the money.

The seafood is a good quality, the service, well you. The order ahead , drive thru window is Super! The Ladies that work the window are first CLASS! they the a awesome job, and never let you down> I can not say how nice and well mannered they are, but I hope the ower sees I would order and ask th nice ladies for my food that sit here, some little girl with a bad attute talk to me wrong! .. see drive volvo, why is she say" bettter then me? I am good eat there?I am not born here She is beter? Family say most esablamest own by Greek? She is treating me like I am not belonging in restrurant.
