I went to Captain's Cottage last week with my mom, dad and sister, and loved it! I didn't even know tea places existed until I visited one in Tennessee. I wasn't sure I would find one in California with the same charm and good food, but Captain's Cottage has it! The decor is cute as can be, and the staff is so friendly! I will definitely visit again and again!

I have been to just about every tea room in the east bay and I always walk out saying, It was good, but not a good as Captain's Cottage. There it is all about the atmosphere and the quirky lady who owns it. Being there is like visiting your kooky aunt. Good food and tea and unbeatable prices! I think it still cost only $16 a person for high tea which is the best deal I can find. Even if it were more expensive it would be worth it.

If your looking for a place with a relaxing atmosphere and service the way they should be, come check out Captain's Cottage in Pinole. They have a pretty good selection of teas and snacks. I've met up with a couple of girlfriends here to catch up on gossip. The prices are reasonable but I keep coming back because of the wonderful service offered here.
