Capriccio used to be a decent restaurant a year ago. After this past Saturday, I don't think we'll ever return. For one, they've changed ownership/management and the food seemed to have gone downhill with it.
They had a kid's menu but didn't have milk! Initially, the waiter just said that they did't have milk and didn't offer an explanation. I had to ask the owner about this who apologetically said that they would go and buy some now. He had an accent and it was hard to understand what he was trying to say about the absence of milk. It also didn't help that there was a large party in the same room and they carrying on at the top of their voices. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't carry milk in their kitchen?
Secondly, the Caprese salad was bland and their olive oil was rather bitter and raw around the edges. The Osso Bucco was anemic and hardly had any flavor.
Though they didn't charge us for the milk, I don't think we'll ever patronize them again. The whole experience simply left a bad taste in my mouth
