the food wasnt that good..the chicken was dry and seemed like it was cooked in old grease.. but what was the aweful part was the service..the person(definately not a lady) thats for sure..she acted like i was doing her a favor and didnt even say thank you..talk about lazy..then while i was trying to enjoy the dry food she walks around the reasturant doing nothing while the other lady was working. then three people come in and she talks to them in the lobby and cursing..talk about stupid.. if i owned this restaurant she would have been fired on the spot.. its a shame that things and people like that have a paying job..i wont be going ther anymore thats for sure.. i would rather go to smithfields chicken and bbq anytime...and drive the extra miles to do it to.. so overall food was aweful and service was even worse.dont waste your money or time..make sure you dont carry your kids in there while she is working..‎

Cape Fear Barbecue serves both pork and chicken barbecue. They serve large lunch portions & have quick service. Their hushpuppies are delicious and their pork barbecue plate is recommended.
