Had a number of vendors over the years - Sharp, IKON, Xerox and Konica Minolta. I thought all copiers and copier companies were the same - boy was I wrong! I use to shop based on price and got what I paid for. Sharp & Konica Minolta were the cheapest and it showed - the machines broke down all the time and don't get me started on their techicians (never had the parts and usually and to call someone else to fix the problem). I also had a different represenative calling on me every 3 to 6 months and to bring them up to speed on my business. There was no account consistency.
IKON had so many billing issues and spend so much time getting them to correct their errors. They also seemed to have a high turnover rate in their sales & accounting dept.
I thought I would spend a little more and go with Xerox same thing as IKON- billng issues (they were even a bigger nightmare to deal with- because they always thought they were right and I was wrong).
I finally decided to go the Canon (CBS) and I have been with them for over two years. Smartest decision I could have made. No issues with equipment, their techs are knowledgeable and respond promptly. I have had the same Sales Rep and he reviews over my account every three to four months. Finally - a company who lives up to their promises!

We leased several Canon Copiers from IKON, however, IKON was purchased by Ricoh. We transferred our service contract to Canon Business Solutions, and are very happy with the results - our Canon's are running better than ever, and they are very professional!!!
