I usually head over to Camelot Books on Saturdays when children's books are always 50% off. Get on their mailing list because you won't want to miss their 75% off kids books blowout sale which happens once or twice a year. The selection is out of this world and the prices are cheap-cheap-cheap!!I was very surprised to read the earlier review regarding spotty service at the store. The folks at Camelot have always been helpful, engaging and full of laughs. Perhaps that buyer was a bit cranky that day ;)Occasionally I look for fiction and non-fiction for my husband and I and we have never had a problem finding anything. Now that the Book Baron is closed, I only go here. It is far better than Bookman and Bookman Too!!

When I first went into Camelot Books I was expecting a small used book store like most I've been in that have limited space and limited selection, but when I walked through the doors I was totally overwhelmed with joy. Floor to ceiling there are shelves and boxes filled with books from poetry and drama to cooking and science fiction; children's books for all age ranges and books about knitting. They have two sections with Kurt Vonnegut books and I found a very rare book of his that I had never heard of! Twice I have been searching high & low online or elsewhere for certain books at a good price and both times I walked down the street to Camelot (I used to live really close) and found them! It's so random that they happened to have them. It's not a place you'd want to be during an earthquake but it's worth the risk if you love that smell of old books, searching shelf after shelf, row aftter row for hours (I love it!), and love a deal. They have sales sometimes and children's books are 50% off on Saturdays--- they are already only $3 to maybe $5 without the sale. Great for teachers like me! They also have rare books, sell online and are very friendly & helpful. They have a children's book sale coming up in September. Hope you'll all check them out!

This bookstore is small and has a lot of older books. I went here when they had a sale to look for books in my classroom. They have great cheap prices and a big variety of books.

Saturdays kids books are usually half off... half off already cheap equals really cheap! I have found some excellent bargains, first editions at this store. Although it is VERY unorganized...the staff is pretty helpful although a little out there.. My kids love this store...it is HUGE and there are so many treasures to be unearthed...

This bookstore can order any book you'd ever want if they don't have it in stock. But being a rather small bookstore, that's a lot of books. They have all of your classic books that your kids would need for school, but if you're looking for that special book that's hard to find, this isn't the first place I would head to. The atmosphere of the store is defintely cosy and relaxing though!
