Abismal Parking Situation
All in all, for the price of a two bedroom apartment in Scottsdale this place is about average. You are looking at $950 or more per month, plus utilities added later.
Each apartment comes with one assigned parking space which is expected. The problem with this place comes when you need more than one parking space. The area is extremely crowded and the parking situation is by far the biggest complaint of every tenant.
There are extremely few visitor parking spaces and some are poorly marked, so at night, it can be almost impossible to spot one, unless you have memorized their locations. And more often than not, you find yourself driving around in circles desperately sobbing "I just want to park and go inside my house!"
They have also resorted to fashioning "make-shift" parking spaces in front of the trash dumpsters warning that Mondays and Fridays are trash days and you will be towed if you are parked there. If you happen to forget one late night (as I did) you will get a rude awakening when you find yourself asking "Dude, where's my car?"
Along the lines of towing, they hired E&R towing (see my review of them) to patrol the parking lot every day searching for vehicles to tow. YOU DO NOT EVER WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!! Please consider this before moving here.
Camden Legacy does in fact have more than enough spaces to accommodate visitors, however, they choose to hold on to those spaces and charge a hefty fee for their "rental" per month.
If you are thinking of moving here, I strongly urge you to reconsider. It may not seem like it at first, but the parking situation is absolutely a deal-breaker when it comes to making a decision about living here.
