Took my computer to Caltec Computers for a virus cleanup after being told by Best Buy that it would cost over 200 dollars. These guys did it in one day and even gave me some advice on how to keep from getting viruses in the future.

Went in not knowing exactly how to proceed with getting my laptop fixed and was given immediate guidance. They took the few minutes to look at my laptop instead of brushing me off and getting around to it in a few days and were able to tell me that they would most likely be unable to fix my particular problem there and helped me to contact the people who could. I had a really great experience when I purchased my first computer this month (at age 59) from CalTec Computers in San Luis Obispo. Brent was able to find a great deal for me but the real magic happen after the sale. I hate computers, email, wifi, wiz bang ect. ect. ect. This is why I never bought a computer. Yes, I use them at work but we have large main frames and "canned" software. Never a problem and call the IT department if there is. Brent answered all my first time questions fast friendly and at no cost. Basically he held my hand this whole month and I am totally grateful to him I now am doing emails, surfing the net and doing work at home (oh no). I have used Caltec computers for the past 15 years. Brent is the most knowledgeable computer expert I've ever dealt with. Not only am I amazed at his computer expertise, but he has remarkable customer skills to match. I have often contacted him at all hours of the night, including weekends, and he always diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. We took our computer in for repair and when my husband went to pick it up, I believe it was Brent, said, Its not running as smoothly as Id like. Can you leave it? My husband told him it was tuff getting in, so he cleaned it up in a half hour! Our computer is now running more smoothly than ever!! And thank goodness they installed their software because I was able to get our wireless internet up and running, when it hadnt in YEARS!!! They just used their remote service and had it fixed in minutes!!! We are VERY VERY pleased!! Thanks so much Computers MD!!!‎
