When you walk into this CPK you think that it's a nice establishment to eat at. This is where the good thoughts end. It took forever to get horrible service who literally read a bible of menu items just to get us warmed up like a sales person. The food came out at a reasonable time, but any food that is of such quality needs to come and go quickly as to not waste any more of my time or health. I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and it was the worst pizza I've ever had, inside or outside the frozen section. CPK's crust isn't even pizza crust and the other ingredients aren't even worth mentioning. My girlfriend got a pizza that was essentially a salad dumped on top of a horrible tasting bread stick. After getting the bill I was shocked by how much the bill was for the quality of food. Pizza Hut blows this pizza away for 1/3 of the price. This corporate chain is giving Hawaii a bad image of poor quality for ridiculous prices. I'm not a tight wad, but wasting money ...

What a great place to have a leasurely lunch. There is plenty of choices but I like the pizza and salad. They are always busy but if you have the time it is worth the wait.

I have to say that I love California Pizza Kitchen. I love their Lava Flows (Lava Colada), their pizza's, and their garlic bread.

As for service, it reallydepends how busy they are. I have better luck at the Ala Moana location than I do at Pearl Ridge.

Food: Below average
Service: Fairly slow but our server was nice and tried to make us happy.
Cleanliness: Below average.

We had a roach crawl across our table and the best the manager could do is offer free desert. He lied to us saying that the check could not be adjusted.
Next time you LIE to a customer, make sure of two things.
1. Don't assume we are tourists who will never be back again anyway.
2. I sell POS systems and know exactly what you can and cannot do - the excuse that the check cannot be adjusted is BS.

My wife and I did not go there looking for a free meal. We were out running errends all day and doing our Christmas shopping. We were looking forward to eating at CA Pizza Kitchen. We won't be back again.
