I wanted my husband to experience more than just cocktails poolside in Borrego Springs. Our hotel hooked us up with California Overland. The timing was great with all the wildflowers in bloom. We took a private Jeep tour and our guide and driver, Joe, was great! From Font's Point to 17 Palms to lunch in Hawk Canyon. Joe was experienced and well versed in all things desert. Flora, fauna, and great off-road trails. I had been to the park many times in the past, but gained even more knowledge. And oh yeah, Greg, he loved the off road feeling without having to deal with (the wifes/me) drama if it was just us driving out in the middle of nowhere. ...
