Property Management Very Rude and Unprofessional
These people are like vultures. If they see anything out of line, they treat it like a major catastrophe.
I have had to deal with these "people" (for lack of a nicer word) for the past several years. They are so inept when it comes to repairing things that I usually have to contact the owners, who I have known way before I moved into one of their units.
I am a caregive for a disabled person that rents through HUD. Right away this new person tried to make trouble for him.
When she called and wanted to inspect a problem, I asked her if she could come at another time, because the person I take care of was sick and nauseated. She started giving me a song and dance, so I told her to if she really needed to come by that day to go ahead, but she might be faced with a very sick, vomiting person. She chose to come by a few days later.
Next day I get a call from HUD, informing me that I have to let people in to look at the bathroom, and that there's no waiting.
She had apparently told HUD that I said she couldn't come out.
What a lie.
She also sent us a letter, stating that we have to remove some items from the property, and gave us a deadline. This "thing" (I can't insult the human race by calling her a person) also sent a copy to the head of the local HUD office.
We have lived here for several years, and never had anything like this happen to us.
The things she wanted us to remove were already here when we moved here. She never asked the landlord, or she would have known not to bother us, or try to make trouble for the man I caregive with HUD.
If you need to rent a place, I would suggest that you either go directly to the owner, or find a different property management.
