I found this cafe after my daughter started going to kindergarten at South Loop's ECC (branch school) at 18th and Archer. It's a great little spot, with indoor seating across the hall or outdoor tables in a large courtyard. There's free wi-fi, so it's a nice place for me to get some work done. It's been busy around lunch time, but aside from that, it's very quiet. Not sure about the previous issues people had with the staff. There's only been one guy at the counter when I've been there, and he's always been pleasant, if a little quiet. The rest of the staff speaks mainly, if not only, Spanish and are in the background, but they're nice too. The small park behind the cafe is a great bonus, making for a nice, peaceful place to read or just enjoy a walk.‎

I hear the wraps are good; I have only had their coffee so far. But a nice casual place to sit outside with your dog (allowed on the outdoor patio) and I'm looking forward to trying them for breakfast on a nice summer morning when Yolk and Bongo Room are overflowing. Owner Jorge has always been friendly with us. They also occasionally have live music on the back patio. I'll give it 4 even though I haven't tried their food, only because they allow you to bring your dog along!‎

We visited on a a few nights ago and found the menu to be uninteresting, and the food to be way below our expectations for a neighborhood cafe. Poor service was the final straw. There are too many other fine restaurants opening in the south loop. Take my advice and pass this one by
