I think they might run on a different time clock here - relaxed and slow. If you have the time, this is a great lunch. There is usually no apparent reason why it takes so long, so be patient. Have some coffee - it is WONDERFUL. Don't count on a second cup unless you ask for it, though.

I just moved to Sac and tried this place a couple months ago. Now I go about 3 times a month. Everything I've tried is delicious! Great place for lunch.

I've been eating at this restaurant for 2 years (~1/mo), and have not been disppointed! The Lamb Humus is my fave!

We've been coming here for years and have been pleased with both the food and service every single time. I've been very happy with all of the chicken meals I've had and also enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka. Don't forget to try the dolmas.

The food here is delicious, and I can't believe this is only the second time I've gone. That's mostly due to the hidden location. From the hummus, to the fallafel, to the Greek Salad, everything was fantastic. I had Chicken Shish Kabob for my entre and it was out of sight. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sauce on it was outstanding. The portions are huge also. The service was quick and they were very friendly. I can't understand why more people don't know about this place, and I'm telling all of my friends about it. You will not be dissappointed!
