The staff is simply wonderful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all the offerings. The establishment has not been open for quite six months yet and they already need room to expand. We were in just last Sunday after church hours, and there was already a waitlist for a table. The atmosphere is a relaxed and family-friendly. I must confess that we already went three times in the past two weeks, twice just for their breakfast which is very conveniently priced, and another time for a quick lunch. LUNCH -The Ruben sandwich mentioned below was simply fantastic, I am convinced it is a homemade Russian sauce with a kick reminiscent of thousand-island that fused with the most divinely spiced corned beef that doubles in volume once you remove the toothpick. ***** -The Monty Cristo is around $7 and is not as large as the Ruben, but should still be tried at least once. So glad to finally have a family owned style cafe/ diner in the south mandarin area. Located between Loretto and Orange Picker roads on San Jose, this is just what we've been needing to bring in a different kind of crowd and have some yummy food at the same time. I hate to cook, and I hate fast food. This is the best local place in the area, and the staff and owners are so friendly it just makes you want to order again!!
