Great restaurant. If you're looking for a small bite to eat that's elegant and flavorful, this is your place. The chef takes simple items and places an elegant twist such as offering lavender lemonade and pomegranate mimosas. The space is very French cafe like (you feel you are on the streets of Paris) but the seating is limited. Service is excellent and try sitting at the bar - the owner sometimes tends it and you can learn a lot.
Pros : N/A
Cons : Parking near the area can be limited.

This place has amazing breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere is that of a small French cafe. You can enjoy a romantic dinner for two, or a brunch with your girls here. The bloody mary's are amazing too.

Cafe Chloe, located in East Village, is a super-cute restaurant with a very French bistro feel to it! The setup is adorable - there's a "library-like" area where you can buy different cookbooks and biographies by different chefs. I sat at the counter as it was pretty packed when we arrived for lunch on Friday.

Order a coke and you'll get the classic glass bottle version! I even noticed some ladies enjoying wine with their meals; most of the customers seemed like they probably didn't have to return to work, if they worked at all. Definitely had a relaxing feel and although it was crowded, it was not the usual in-and-out lunch rush you might expect on a weekday afternoon.

I was a bit hesitant when reading the menu as I had no idea what half the items were; but my order was delicious and my friend enjoyed hers thoroughly as well. The ingredients were very fresh and the portion was right on par. I think our server was the owner so she was constantly running around the entire place, but she was so warm and welcoming I couldn't get mad even if she took a little longer than I would have liked.

My only complaint was a fly problem - but I guess that's somewhat inevitable when your cafe is setup for all open windows and doors without screens!

All in all a great place to stop for lunch...I will definitely be going back!

(FYI: They also serve breakfast, dinner and brunch.)
Pros : A great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Also they used fresh ingredients and their food was delicious!
Cons : Can get crowded as it's a smaller establishment and we were attacked by countless flies by the end of our meal.
