I have a nice set of Mikli frames (rimless on the bottom) that were only a couple of years old and wanted to have my new prescription put into them. I felt more comfortable with this store over the others in the area since they sell glasses in this price range, assuming they would have a higher level of standards. When I first got my glasses, I quickly realized that the lens guy cut an abnormally deep groove in the lenses - giving me a nice white border around what should be pretty nondescript glasses. I took them back and the people were nice enough and offered to have them replaced. I just picked them up after the replacement and it's pretty much the exact same thing - he obviously tried to buff some of the border out, so the white is not "quite" as bright. However, the top of the lenses obviously were not cut correctly and don't sit in the frame well (I can see gaps in the corners). I have been going to this office for several years now. This year, I decided to get my glasses done here instead of LensCrafters. The optical folks took my measurements and ordered my glasses. Once they came in (7 weeks later), the lens didn't completely fit into the frame and the vision was incorrect. They reordered the glasses and this time one of the lens had a scratch down the middle. The optical folks (lady with black curly hair) was flippant about the situation and didn't understand why I was so upset. Now, 10 weeks later I'm going back to LensCrafters, where I should have gone the first time! This place rapes you on the costs of the lens and frames....charging 2 xs what other places charge. I won't be back!‎

I absolutely love C. Eyewear! I bought a pair of LaFont glasses that are amazing! I get so many compliments and people want to know where i got my glasses. The staff is so knowledgable and know exactly what frame is just right for you. They picked out my pair and i instantly fell in love with them. It is extremely hard to find cool glasses. period. Everywhere has the standard generic frames that are just boring. I live about 2.5 hrs from Winston Salem but it's worth my drive when i'm looking for unique, stylish, and ultra cool frames! The ONLY place i'll go! It ROCKS!‎

C has a terrific selection of frames---the best I've ever seen. They also have a talented staff who actually helps you pick the most flattering style. Their finished glasses are excellent and they stand behind their work happily. I almost never write reviews, but these people really deserve an enthusiastic report for going above and beyond the average eyeglass experience. They are not inexpensive but the glasses are so satisfactory that I wear them much longer than I would a less flattering style. Maybe that's where the economy factor comes into play.‎
