I have never had physical therapy before and I'm so glad that my Dr. referred me to C.A.W.H. physical therapy. My therapist was Jennifer Briggs and she was WONDERFUL. This group specializes in women's PT needs and the Dr's at the Pelvic Pain Clinic at UNC refer to them.

I had surgery to remove extensive endometriosis and I was left with very bad pain issues while sitting. I found out that I was having pelvic floor spasms. I went to Jennifer for PT for 8 months and she always made me feel comfortable during a situation which could have been very uncomfortable. She educated me on the muscle anatomy and gave me some exercises to do at home.

I can now happily say that I am pain free and living my life for the first time in many years w/o even thinking of this horrible daily pain that was basically ruling my life prior to surgery and PT.

Do not suffer with pelvic pain issues there are people out there that can help you.
