I have taken my dogs to Dr. Burman since about 1995. She and her staff are the best for the treatment and care that they give my animals. People are not her first consideration - the animals are, so she doesn't come across well to people at first. I've seen her sit down on the floor of the waiting room to easier get to know the patient. She cares about the cost of treatment for the people's sake, always giving options and the entire reasons for the treatment one way or another. With her education, time in practice, and common sense she often doesn't need to take a really close look at every animal. I would never take one of my pets to anyone else for treatment!‎

Dr. Burman was extremely rude. She did not greet me and my husband, she seemed pissed off, she didn't even care to get to know my dog. She insisted that we should give her a dollar amount we were willing to spend and she would use that amount to find out the diagnosis of my puppy's problem. She took a quick glimpse at my dogs toe, and as soon as my dog squirmed, she suggested to sedate her because she didn't want to wrestle with my dog to get a better look at the problem. I would not recommend her to any first time visitors.‎

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Lauretta for the past 12 years. We admire her skills and her morals. She works with animals because she loves them, not because she wants to profit from them. I wish she practiced on humans too. It is hard to find a doctor of her caliber!‎
